"Les Hommes… maintenant!" is a concert staged by Jean-Paul Delore with the Marmite Infernale (ARFI's grand orchestra). It was created in November 2015 at the Théâtre de la Renaissance (Oullins / 69), with costumes by Catherine Laval, lighting by Franck Besson, and sound design by Thierry Cousin.
You are here, sitting in this hall, and it begins. Already, if you love music, life, people, you’ve known for a long time that all of this is made of the outside and the inside, of the world of everyone and the world of each individual. And you hope that a little of this alchemy will be delivered to you on the stage.
The Men are here, now, between them and in front of you, dressed in their magnificent presence, on this stage where the life of music beats through the bodies and thoughts of those who make it, who are made by it. In short, these men who gradually gave themselves to the idea that music is their most intimate companion, their woman, or more precisely, their indispensable femininity.
