Guy is a musician who has played tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, and clarinet in the reverse order of their appearance in his musical life. He also sings and, in recent years, has become proficient with the laptop and camera.
He is a musician who burns what he once loved; he is a musician who turns the page. He tried to set his tenor saxophone on fire after literally setting the stages ablaze with it. In the end, he couldn’t manage to do so.
He has turned many pages, as he is a veteran of ARFI, having witnessed and participated in numerous creations, as well as having sparked a good number of them. He is never far from the pleasures of food, which he enjoys with a powerful and insatiable appetite. As a cook himself, he has even brought culinary experiences to the stage with collaborators. Additionally, he created shows for young audiences, the preparation of which — before their actual and successful creation — often left his colleagues apprehensive to see this “ogre” at work.
We still wonder how many more pages he has left to turn, but the book seems endless.
At ARFI, he currently plays in a duo with Jean Bolcato in the silent film concert Koko the Clown and with Xavier Garcia in Actuel Remix. He has participated in countless ARFI adventures, with the pinnacle being La Marmite Infernale, of which he is one of the founders.
