Carnival is a necessary disorder. It reverses roles, disrupts norms, and creates commonality through excess. It awakens. It vibrates. It shouts. It celebrates life with noise and fury, in response to calls for moderation.
Mille Pô is a great liberating racket, a wave of sound. A joyful and furious din, where every voice, every sound, every costume carries an intimate and collective story. At the heart of Mille Pô, the celebration is not just a moment of rejoicing: it becomes an act of rebellion, of overturning codes and regaining freedom. The masks and costumes, created as “second skins,” transform bodies and minds, offering a space where an imaginary and offbeat folklore is invented.
Scheduled for 2026, the creation is in residence at the CENTQUATRE - PARIS during the week of March 2, 2026, to “fine-tune” this great carnival revelry.
