Laura is a highly awarded singer with a classical training who breaks free in her vocal practices. The audience, however, remains captivated by her presence, and that’s what matters most. As a secondary interest, she enjoys tapping on the cajón.
She has proven herself both in France and in Valencia (Spain), her hometown.
Her voice, sought after for numerous classical and contemporary music projects, is both highly projected and deeply intimate in the same performance—so much so that blind people can see her, and deaf people can hear her, immersed in the wide-ranging sounds she produces. Very comfortable with improvisation, she also uses voice projectors (funnels) to further amplify her spatialized sound.
She sometimes hides due to her modesty and life's constraints, but once discovered, she is generous, abundant, and grateful to have been found!
At ARFI, she performs in Labyrinthe d'une ligne and took part in the adventure of Les Plutériens.
Additionally, you can hear her with Résonance Contemporaine, Spirito, DIVAgation, ensemble Justiniana, the collective La Forge, and in several formations with Etienne Roche.
