"Ciel complètement imaginaire d'ARFI" is a game-based pretext. Each musician is associated with a point in the sky that intuitively and empirically seems to suit them best—without any astrological study of their personal chart. This results in what is called the "ARFI chart." The geometric configurations or aspects that emerge then determine the groups that will perform, while the traditional astrological interpretation of these configurations defines the musical atmosphere in which each group expresses itself.
This album also captures the work of TRACE, a variable-geometry group where ARFI musicians periodically come together to explore and showcase their latest reflections and developments in music, within the framework of ever-changing small ensembles.
